Care
Vandas thrive in normal room temperatures between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius. At the right temperature and with sufficient light, the plant grows actively year-round. The plant does need an occasional bath. Fill a sink with water and give the Vanda a soak twice a week during warm, sunny periods. In cooler and cloudier periods, once a week is sufficient. Additional light during the flowering phase intensifies the flower color. Once the flowers have faded, the flower stalk can be removed. After a few months, depending on the amount of daylight, a new flower stalk will appear.
