Care
The best time to plant the bulbs is when the leaves begin to fall from the trees. The soil has then cooled sufficiently. Tulips can be planted at a depth of about 15–20 cm in loose soil. The bulbs should be planted about 10 cm apart. Tulips prefer a sunny or partially shaded spot. When planted in the ground, tulips can withstand all weather conditions. If planted in pots, it's best to place them in a cold shed during severe frost.
