Care The Tulipa Abricot Parrot prefers a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Dig a hole about 5 cm deep. Place the tulip bulb with the pointed end facing up and cover it with soil. Make sure the bulbs are planted 5–10 cm apart so they have plenty of room to grow. Water after planting to keep the soil moist. Tulips need a cold period to bloom, so it's important to plant the bulbs in the fall, before frost. After planting, the tulips should be watered regularly, especially during dry spells. Be careful not to let the soil get too wet, as this can cause the bulbs to rot.
