Tulipa Brisbane is a beautiful, fringed tulip. Its flowers are large and have the characteristic tulip shape. They are distinguished by their pink, finely fringed petals. This tulip looks stunning in a garden border, but is also excellent in a pot on a balcony or patio.
Care The Brisbane tulip prefers a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Dig a hole about 10 cm deep. Place the tulip bulb with the pointed end facing up and cover it with soil. Make sure the bulbs are planted about 5–10 cm apart so they have plenty of room to grow. Water after planting to keep the soil moist. Tulips need a cold period to flower well, so it's important to plant them between September and December, before the first frost. After planting, the tulips should be watered regularly, especially during dry spells. Be careful not to let the soil get too wet, as this can cause the bulbs to rot.
Size The flower bulbs have a circumference of approximately 11/12 cm upon delivery.
