Tulipa Mondial is a beautiful, fresh tulip. This double tulip has white flowers that later develop a yellow center. The elegant flowers stand on tall, sturdy stems, making them a beautiful eye-catcher in the garden. Their neutral color makes them a perfect match for other colorful tulips or, for example, Muscari armeniacum. Tulipa Mondial grows to a height of approximately 45 cm. The bulbs can be planted in the ground or in a pot on the balcony. They also make excellent cut flowers. Plant the bulbs between September and December and enjoy your beautiful tulips in May.
Care The best time to plant the bulbs is when the trees begin to lose their leaves. The soil has then cooled sufficiently. Tulips can be planted about 15–20 cm deep in loose soil. The bulbs should be spaced 10 cm apart. Tulips prefer a sunny or partially shaded spot. Planted in the ground, tulips can withstand any weather. If you plant them in a pot, it's best to keep them in a cold shed during severe frost.
Size On delivery, the bulbs have a circumference of approximately 11/12 cm.
