Angel's Trumpets Brugmansia mix - 3 pieces - 25-40 cm - pot size ⌀9 cm

The Brugmansia used to belong to the Datura family. However, a few decades ago, this group was split into Datura and Brugmansia. The main difference between these two plants lies in their trumpet-shaped flowers. The white, yellow, or red flowers of the Brugmansia are much larger than those of the Datura. The Brugmansia is a true container plant that spreads its sweet fragrance on any balcony or patio. This plant feels completely at home in the European climate in summer. It can even remain outdoors during the winter months, as long as there is no frost. Because of the shape of its flowers, the Brugmansia is also called Angel's Trumpet. This evergreen shrub grows very quickly and has a beautiful, rich, and pleasantly scented bloom. The leaves are large, grayish-green, and soft with serrated, wavy, or smooth edges. The trumpet-shaped flowers are very large, up to 14–50 cm long and 10–35 cm in diameter.

Care
The Brugmansia's large leaves are hairy and evaporate so much moisture during the summer months that it's necessary to water the plant daily. However, be careful: constantly wet soil can lead to root rot. In winter, water less frequently; allow the soil to dry out between waterings, but not completely, or the plant will die. You can easily tell when the Brugmansia needs water: the leaves will droop. The Brugmansia loves summer warmth and thrives in full sun.

The plants are 25–40 cm tall upon delivery, measured including the growing pot. They are delivered in a growing pot with a diameter of 9 cm.
