Hydrangea arborescens 'Strong Annabelle' is an extremely popular hydrangea with beautiful white flowers. Hydrangea arborescens (the Latin name for hydrangea) is native to North America and is a strong, deciduous shrub. The plant is highly prized for its spectacular white flowers, which grow to approximately the size of a football. The Strong Annabelle is a more vigorous variety of the common Hydrangea Annabelle and remains upright better in rain and wind thanks to its sturdier stems. The Strong Annabelle grows to a height of approximately 120 to 150 cm and has a long flowering period from July to September.
Care
Hydrangeas dislike drought and need a fair amount of water, especially in summer. It's best to give them a large amount of water at once. They can be planted from March to mid-October, either in the ground or in a decorative pot. When planting, maintain a distance of 75 cm between plants. The hydrangea is best pruned in March. The harder you prune Strong Annabelle, the larger the flowers will be.
Size
The plant is 30-40 cm tall upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. It comes in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19 cm.
