With the hyacinth, you'll not only bring beautiful flowers to your garden, but also a touch of Greek mythology. Hyacinthus is the Latin form of the Greek word Huakinthos. According to Greek myth, Huakinthos was beloved by the sun god Apollo. During a discus match, he was mortally wounded, and from his flowing blood grew a flower that Apollo named after Huakinthos. The flowers of the Blue Trophy Hyacinth have a striking dark blue color and a wonderful fragrance. The hyacinth is easy to combine and creates a versatile garden. The plant reaches a height of about 20 to 30 centimeters. Plant the bulbs between September and December, and you can enjoy spring in April when the flowers are in full bloom.
Care
Hyacinths don't require much care. The most important thing is that they are planted in well-drained, light, and fertile soil. In case of frost, it's best to protect the bulbs with leaves, peat, and branches. The bulbs can also be planted in pots or containers. If they are in a pot, it's important to protect them from frost, for example, with bubble wrap, straw, and leaves.
Size
The flower bulbs have a circumference of approximately 15/16 cm upon delivery.
