Bring your garden to life and help wild bees! The Wild Bee Hotel Box contains 60 flower bulbs specially selected for their attractiveness to bees, bumblebees, and other beneficial insects. You can transform the packaging into a bee hotel—instructions are on the box. Our tip: use bamboo sticks instead of tree trunks. Or both, of course. The flowers in the box provide nectar and pollen from early spring to summer, precisely when bees need food most. With this box, you create a colorful insect paradise and provide shelter and nesting space for wild bees. Ideal for borders, flower pots, and natural gardens! The box contains the following bulbs: Tulipa tarda-dasystemon, Crocus Goldilocks, Allium caeruleum, Allium siculum, Chionodoxa luciliae, Allium sphaerocephalon, and Muscari armeniacum.
Care
The flower bulbs in this box are hardy and easy to care for. Plant them between September and December in well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot. Supplemental watering is only necessary during prolonged droughts. Allow the foliage to die back completely after flowering so the bulbs can store energy for the following season. You can leave the bulbs in the ground—they will bloom again every year and provide food for bees and butterflies all season long. The bee hotel can be easily hung in a dry, sunny spot (preferably south-facing) at a height of 1–2 meters. Make sure the openings remain clear and that the hotel doesn't get wet from below.
